Same here. I had the low yellow flame and flame that goes out immediately after being lit, or another burner tries to lit. I knew the problem was with the regulator, but being able to fix it made my day. I only used my grill about 10 times before I had this problem. I refilled the tank as it was near empty, but still should have had more than enough for another go. My tank is 6 gals, and I only had to fill 2.5 gals….

Lesson learned. Don’t turn off the gas first before the burners. Turn off the burners and then the gas. I know that this was the source of my problem as disconnecting the tank from the regulator did not cause a discharge. I suppose that you want to hear this as this is what prevents the regulator from sticking as mentioned.

I’m GUESSING, but it sounds like you’re running propane through a natural gas regulator.

NG and propane regulators are different animals. Mud wasps like to stuff spiders in gas lines, too.

You need a larger tank. If you release the pressure too fast the valve will freeze, and the bottom of the tank will grow frost or feel cold.

If you’re running a massive amount of fuel, the tank valve will freeze. Get a bigger tank or a dual system.

Adjust the venture while lit and warmed up a bit. You want blue flame, orange flame shows incomplete combustion.

It is a three burner. The two on the right lite and stay on fine. The one on the far left does not. I hold the button/ knob in and ignite, it lites but when I let go of the knob, it goes out. Please help. Was thinking I need to replace that valve or switch? Thanks

My BBQ is working great but those yellow flames show that it is not optimum. What would you suggest I do?
